Become a Block Captain
Beacon Hill's brick sidewalks, gas lamps, historic architecture, quaint shops, and welcoming neighbors make it one of Boston's most beloved neighborhoods. Keeping it clean, beautiful, and connected takes the collective effort of residents who care about the community.

As a Block Captain, you'll help care for your section of the neighborhood by serving as a local point of contact, welcoming new neighbors, reporting issues like missing bricks or overflowing trash to Boston 311, organizing or participating in neighborhood cleanups, and working with volunteers in your area. Block Captains also play an important role in seasonal traditions, including holiday decorating and undecorating, as well as other community events throughout the year.

If you have a little time to give and a passion for Beacon Hill, we'd love to have you join us. Complete the application below to become a Block Captain.
