The BHCA Annual Appeal is the primary fundraising vehicle for the organization. It runs from October to December each year and all donors giving $300 or more receive a special thank you gift--tickets to the BHCA Winter Dance, our annual thank you party for donors. From time to time, the BHCA asks the community to help financially support a particular cause of importance to the neighborhood. Special Funds were raised, for example, in 2007 to help defray the legal and other costs incurred by the BHCA during negotiations with Suffolk University over their proposed use of the property at 20 Somerset. During the holiday season each year, the BHCA partners with the BHBA to raise money for pole decorating. And currently, residents of several Beacon Hill streets are raising funds to ensure the trees on their street are pruned. To contribute to these special funds, simply use our online donation form and type in the name of the special fund to which your donation should be applied.
