| Membership & Special Events |
Membership & Special Events is one of the BHCA's four main focus areas. Attracting and retaining membership is vital to an organization that relies on that base not only for funding but also for adding volume and passion to the expression of neighborhood stands on issues of importance. The Membership Committee takes responsibility for a renewal drive each Spring, continual recruitment of new members and works to provide opportunities for residents to meet their neighbors by convening like-minded individuals for opportunities to socialize and share experiences of mutual interest. Sub-committee examples include the Founders Circle, the Winter Dance, the Book Club and Friends of Beacon Hill (FOBH). The BHCA Vice Presidents of Membership and Special Events oversee all activities in this area.
