| Special Events (BHCA) |
The Special Events Committee supports the Membership Committee’s efforts to attract and retain BHCA members by planning and executing events throughout the year for members only as well as for all local residents and businesses. Events very from year to year but generally include: the annual Block Party in September in conjunction with Nonprofit Neighbors; a BHCA New Member Reception in the fall; Holiday Decorating, in conjunction with the Beacon Hill Business Association; the Winter Dance, our February black-tie gala; and the BHCA Annual Meeting each May. The sub-groups of the committee meet as needed to plan each event; all of these events benefit from the generous support of time and effort on behalf of members and nonmembers alike.
