| Holiday Decorating (BHCA) |
The Holiday Decorating Committee joins with the Beacon Hill Business Association to fund and organize the festooning of the lampposts on all Beacon Hill streets with garlands and bows in the holiday season.
Typically occurring on the first weekend in December, Holiday Decorating Days bring out scores of local residents committed to beautifying our streets for the holiday season. Volunteers spend the weekend forming garlands and bows in the comfort of Historic New England’s offices at the Otis House Museum on Cambridge Street, and then fan out to decorate every lamppost on the Hill.
