A subcommittee of the BHCA Membership Committee, this group recruits members and plans activities for the Founders Circle, the highest level of membership giving.
The Founders Circle represents a growing group of the BHCA's most devoted supporters. Their annual dues of $500 make a significant contribution toward membership revenue, and they provide true leadership each year in the BHCA Annual Appeal. In addition to several small receptions held throughout the year in private homes, the Founders Circle gathers annually in the spring for a cocktail reception with an address of interest to the group. At one such event, the Founders Circle met at the American Meteorological Society, the third and grandest Harrison Gray Otis house on Beacon Hill, and heard an informative talk by Reverend Stephen Kendrick, Senior Minister of the First Church in Boston on "How the Echoes of History Inform Civic Engagement on Beacon Hill."
